Steiner Consultancy, based in Geelong, Victoria, specialises in offering disability support programs tailored for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) recipients. Founded in January 2024, our company boasts an adept management team comprising Daniel Braun (Director), Abeni Overgauuw (Registered Nurse), David Overgauuw (Sports Therapist and Teacher), Reife Braun (Youth/Social Worker), and Darcee Braun (Youth/Social Worker). With a combined 35 years of experience working within Disability Support, our mission is to enrich the lives of NDIS participants through innovative, personalised programs that promote independence, inclusivity, and overall well-being. Currently, our core services include Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation options, Personalised Care Plans, Therapeutic Activities, Physical Education and Training, Social Inclusion and Independent Living Programs, and Health and Wellness Workshops.

    COMPANY DIRECTOR

    Daniel Braun is a business consultant, counsellor, and facilitator with over 20 years of experience in senior management across the service and construction industries. He helps small to medium-sized businesses streamline operations, build resilience, and overcome challenges. With an MBA and a background in professional counselling, Daniel blends practical business strategies with a deep understanding of people’s needs. He has worked with diverse teams in community development and is passionate about coaching leaders, building teams, and creating effective, sustainable change. Daniel’s hands-on approach focuses on smart, safe, and successful solutions tailored to each organisation’s goals.

  • Abeni Overgaauw

    NURSING & SIL MANAGER

    Abeni Overgaauw is a Registered Nurse who has worked in medical, renal, and palliative care, bringing a wealth of clinical expertise to her role. Passionate about empowering people with disabilities, she is dedicated to supporting individuals to live independently and achieve their goals. With a strong focus on person-centred care, Abeni combines her nursing skills with a deep understanding of the NDIS framework to provide compassionate, tailored support. Her commitment to improving quality of life ensures clients receive the best care possible in a supportive environment.

  • David Overgaauw

    SPORTS AND PT PROGRAM MANAGER

    David Overgaauw is a Sport and PT Program Manager with extensive experience in the NDIS sector. A qualified teacher, he has worked across a variety of roles, including respite and personal care, as well as supporting students with disabilities in schools. With a background in sports and exercise science and physiology, David brings a deep understanding of physical health to his role. He is also a passionate basketball coach and youth worker, committed to helping individuals with disabilities improve their fitness, build confidence, and live active, independent lives. David’s holistic, person-centred approach ensures tailored, effective support for each individual’s needs.
